Is there any appetite suppression with reta?

I ran your Reta for 7 days and lost 5lbs with no change to diet or exercise. It started suppressing my appetite with zero sides. I decided to lower my dose from .5mg every 3rd day, to .15mg every day to reduce the appetite suppression (for now, since I'm bulking and don't want the appetite suppression until I finish), but still want fat lowered or blocked while bulking as much as possible. I absolutely love this stuff and can't wait to run it at normal doses during a cutting cycle.

Hi, as titled, i would need a recommendation for tirez or reta , i've heard reta got appetite suppression , someone who got any thoughts to share?
You will experience significant appetite suppression starting around 3mg per week. This effect will attenuate over time, but there is plenty of room for dose increase. IMO all the good stuff starts around 3mg per week and maxes out around 1mg-1.2mg/day

I started at 2 mg every 7 days about 2 months ago. I needed zofran for the first day. The nausea wasn't that bad but I'm a wuss and I just don't like to feel ANY nausea. Appetite suppression is on point! I had ZERO food noise (and this girl likes to eat her feelings) I literally had to force myself to eat. I lost 7 lbs the first week. I'm now up to 4 mg a week, nausea is GONE and I'm steadily losing weight. I plan on using reta for a very long time if not indefinitely 😉

I started at 255 pounds about three months ago, and i'm telling you, retatrutide has been a game-changer for appetite suppression. The first week on a 2 mg dose, I noticed my hunger just… vanished. Foods I used to crave—pizza, burgers, late-night snacks—didn’t even cross my mind. I’d sit down for meals and feel full after a few bites, which was wild because I’m usually a big eater. By week four, on 4 mg, I was comfortably eating half my usual portions without feeling deprived. It’s like my brain stopped obsessing over food. I’ve lost 19 pounds so far, and the best part? I don’t feel like I’m fighting myself to stay on track. No crazy cravings, no constant hunger pangs—just calm control. Some nausea hit early on, but it faded after a couple of weeks. If you’re struggling with overeating, reta’s appetite suppression is the real deal.

Mine started at 235 pounds in March 2025, and retatrutide has seriously curbed my appetite. I’m on a 6 mg weekly dose now, and within the first week at 2 mg, I noticed I wasn’t thinking about food all the time. I used to snack constantly, especially at night, but that urge is gone. I can walk past my favorite pizza place and not feel tempted. I’m down 28 pounds in three months, and it’s been easier to stick to smaller portions because I feel full faster. The only downside was some nausea at the start, but it settled after a couple of weeks.

Hey All,
Is Reta a GLP-1?
Yes, Retatrutide (Reta) is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, but it's not just a GLP-1.

Retatrutide is a triple agonist that acts on:

  • GLP-1 (Glucagon-like peptide-1)
  • GIP (Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide)
  • Glucagon receptors

Thanks so much! Okay now this is making more sense :)

Would love to know if anyone is microdosing and if it’s been working, what dosage youre runnnkng and also what it looks like to taper off and maintain muscle and the fat loss.

From what I can read this is more superior than anything else on the market.

I’ve been concerned about starting something that I’m not able to come off without gaining weight back or something impacting my muscle tone, so keen to hear if anyone has achieved the results and been able to come off and maintain.

The food cravings hasn’t really been my concern (although it would really help), as it’s more menopausal weight gain that’s crept in. i’m in the gym and with weight training 3-4 x per week.

Does anyone have any insight?

I would love some some help with this…

Hey! I’ve been running Reta for a bit now, and honestly, it’s been a game changer.
I started with a pretty low dose, just to see how my body would respond. Even at microdose levels, I noticed a steady drop in body fat without feeling like I was starving myself. Energy stayed solid, no crazy crashes, and I kept hitting the gym 3–4 times a week like usual.
As for tapering off — I did a slow step-down over about 4–6 weeks, just cutting the dose in half every couple weeks. I’ve been off it for a little while now and haven’t had any major rebound. Weight’s been stable, and I’ve actually held onto most of the muscle I built during the cycle.
Food cravings weren’t my biggest issue either, it was more the stubborn weight that came with age and hormones. Reta really helped me break through that plateau without killing my routine.
So yeah — if you’re thinking about trying it but worried about long-term effects or gaining it all back, just know it can be done right. Happy to share more details if you need them!

Thanks so much for the feedback, it really helps. I don’t suppose you could share what you’d consider a micro dose? And how you tapered off?
I’m also wanting to check you’ve been happy with this company. I’m new to purchasing direct and want to make sure my source is reputable

Here’s the current dosing protocol I’ve been following for research purposes:

  • Week 1–2: 2mg per week
  • Week 3–4: 4mg per week
  • Week 5–6: Took a break
  • Week 7–8: Back to 4mg per week
  • Week 9–10: Tapering down to 2mg per week

I found this cycle pretty balanced — eased into it, took a short reset, then finished with a taper. Worked well for what I was aiming to study.
